Keyvan A. Schaar

I was born and raised in Tehran, have lived in Germany and Dubai and finally settled in Sweden. I have worked as a researcher at university, as a digital analyst at large corporations and finally decided to follow my dream of becoming a photographer. 

Photography is my way of meditation, my entry to a zen space, to stay sane in the crazy world we live in. I love taking pictures of new faces, showing their inner and outer beauty, vulnerabilities, strengths and grace. For me this is an intimate process through which a heartfelt exchange of trust occurs in the space I create with my model and the camera. My personality and work is deep rooted in love, respect and inclusivity and genuinely believe all humans are beautiful in their diverse forms, colours and orientations and I strive in capturing their individuality and authenticity.
